“The House of Dies Drear” by Virginia Hamilton Book review/ report For each chapter take notes on the following story elements: setting, characters, plot, vocabulary, quotations, and evident themes or author’s purpose. There is no need to keep making notes for setting once it is identified unless it changes. The same is true for character unless something new is revealed about one already noted.
