Please propose your argument for the nature and interaction of environment versus genetics. Which of the two do you think is more powerful? Defend this belief with arguments or anecdotal evidence.Book reference: American Psychological Association. (2020). As humans DNA as well as other factors that are major contributors. Brain development as well as human development are all major influences and contributes to genetics. Where as environment deals with more learned behavior. Environment can be important as well. Which holds the phrase to be somewhat true ” That you can be a product of your own environment.” However one of the major differences is that we as humans have the power to change our environment. The brain has so much power and can be influenced by the surroundings and environment. However Genetics is still considered to be more powerful because it’s hereditary and it’s passed down from your parent’s. Genetics has everything to do with a child’s personality and make up. Genetics is so important because is the main components that makes us as humans unique. Even as it relates to sickness can be relatable to genetics, For example if a parent carries the sickle cell trait. It’s a highly probable chance that the child will inherit that trait as well One of the biggest difference’s is genetics may influence how a child’s brain is wired from birth, However it’s learning and experience that will literally shape how that child’s brain grows and develops.  In conclusion both plays an equally important role as it relates to psychology. However environment’s can ultimately be changed, However genetics cannot.Coon, D., Mitterer, J. O., & Martini, T.
