Here\u2019s a place to start for information on resources, \u00a0citations, and references for this assignment. Visit the Organizational \u00a0Behavior Page in the Penn Foster Virtual Library.Prepare a survey for interviewing people in various work settings. \u00a0On the survey, leave room for notes you take during or immediately \u00a0following your interview with any subject. Although you may add \u00a0questions of your own, include the following questions on your survey:On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your satisfaction with your job?On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your satisfaction with your present workplace environment?Are you expected to present yourself in certain ways to customers (patients, passengers, clients, and so on)?If so, how are you expected to present yourself? Irritable? \u00a0Sad?\u201d)Follow these guidelines for conducting your research:Interview people in at least three different work settings. Your \u00a0subjects might include fast-food workers, bus or taxi drivers, \u00a0firefighters, law enforcement officers, sanitation workers, bank \u00a0tellers, airline flight attendants, public school teachers, paramedics, \u00a0and social workers\u2014to offer some examples.Interview at least two people from each work setting.To find individuals to interview, begin making contacts through people you know.During the interview, complete the surveys yourself. Don\u2019t ask the subjects to fill out the forms.Before beginning an interview, tell each subject that his or her \u00a0responses will be anonymous. Indeed, it\u2019s advisable to create fictitious \u00a0names for particular work venues, for the subjects themselves, and for \u00a0any persons mentioned by the subjects. Also, inform each subject that \u00a0your written report is for a course and that it won\u2019t be published \u00a0anywhere.Allow your respondents to speak freely. Don\u2019t allow your survey form \u00a0to keep you from taking notes on unexpected comments, observations, and \u00a0information provided by the subjects. If you do record any interview, destroy or delete any such \u00a0information upon completion of your research project.Prepare a five-to eight-page term paper based on your research. \u00a0Draft your paper on the basis of your background reading and your field \u00a0research. Edit and revise your draft prior to submitting it to your \u00a0instructor.Paper SpecificationsPrepare your paper for electronic submission in a word-processing program.Prepare a title page with the following information:Title: Emotional Labor in the WorkplaceYour nameYour student numberCourse title: Organizational BehaviorProject numberCurrent dateDouble-space your paper, with left and right margins of 1 to 1.25 inches, flush left and ragged right.Provide adequate source citations.Include a header on each page except the title page. In the header, include your name, student number, and the page number.Do not plagiarize. The direct usage of materials from any source without proper and accurate credit is plagiarism. Be \u00a0sure to properly attribute direct quotes and paraphrases. If you \u00a0plagiarize in any way or to any degree, your term paper will receive a \u00a0failing grade.Use the following outline as a suggested guide for the structure of your paper:Introduction. Summarize your paper. Briefly describe what the paper is about and how you went about writing it.Emotional Labor: Psychological Stress in the Workplace. \u00a0Describe emotional labor, including various perspectives on its nature \u00a0and its psychological costs. The material for this section should come \u00a0mainly from your background research.Interviews. The material proceeds logically, topic sentences are well placed, and paragraph breaks are appropriate.Grammar and usage (20 percent).
