Psychology  Overlap in characteristics

In this week’s assignment, the last direction asks you to “explain any overlap in any of the characteristics, including anything that applies to all three areas.” Let’s work on this together. I am going to provide you with an example, I would like you to come up with your own example. (Please do not use my example in the response you are coming up with!)Example:Stress: Stress is a feeling of mental or emotional strain that can have an effect in any area of our lives. Stress can affect me personally, but impeding my communication skills. When I am feeling the pressure of stress, I find it more difficult to communicate my needs to my significant other, making it difficult for him to help me through that difficult time. This can also cause us to have arguments at times because he is unclear on how to help me. Stress can affect me professionally in a good way! When I feel stress at my workplace, I tend to feel more motivated and more focused to accomplish the things on my “to-do list”. Finally, stress can affect me academically. While working on my bachelor’s degree, I had to study for mid-term and final exams. The stress caused by the exam would sometimes affect my ability to remember the concepts I was studying and it would take longer for me to feel confident before taking the exam.NOTE: In-text citations were not used in the above example because I just wanted you to see how you might be able to apply one concept to different aspects of our lives.
